About Me

Personal:

As a second generation Newborn Care Specialist and Infant/Toddler Sleep Consultant, I was surrounded by babies and families from a very early age. As I look back to my childhood, it was filled with powerful memories of family breakthroughs, as I was fortunate enough to be involved in this service from a very early age. As I watched my mom do this throughout my life, I was able to see how valuable family peace was as my mom helped so many families transition into such a beautiful stage and how much of a difference she made in the lives of parents and babies. I remember thinking to myself that I also wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. As I grew older my desire to help people grew with me. I realized there was such a great need in homes where the entire family unit was stressed and sleep deprived and I decided to educate myself as best I could.

Education:

I was always intrigued with human behavior and so decided to pursue a career in mental health. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in psychology, which has allowed me to understand human development and realize the importance of meeting our needs on a much deeper level. After sleep training babies for a few years, I realized that there was also a big need to help parents. I felt a great desire to serve the parents who were so eager and committed to serving their children. I became a Certified Parent Coach, my commitment grew stronger as I was able to witness the power of Coaching and how important it was to empower parents, working with both the babies and the mothers and fathers as a unit. Parental Coaching has allowed me to help parents really embrace their own capabilities and embrace their own resilience. I am also a firm believer that there is nothing like real, hands on experience. Over the course of 10 years I have been pegged "The Baby Sleep Strategist". I have been fortunate enough to come up with functional strategies with hundreds of families and have accumulated thousands of hours of on the job training and experience with families who are at the end of their rope, sleep deprived, frustrated and in need of some serious peace.

Family:

Family is so dear to me as I have a family of my own as well. I have three daughters who are currently eleven, twelve and seventeen they have been sleep trained and on a consistent sleep schedule since they were very young and really do enjoy their sleep. I have been able to witness the importance of sleep as I have watched them grow and see how much they thrive when their sleep needs are met. I believe that a goodnight sleep is one of the most important gifts you can give your child and yourself as a parent.
